Dorothée Cornut-Gentille

Head, IP at Danone SA

Dorothée Cornut-Gentille is head of intellectual property for the dairy and plant-based division at Danone. She is responsible for protecting, maintaining and defending the company’s global portfolio of trademarks, designs, copyright and domain names in the dairy business.

Ms Cornut-Gentille supports the business on all IP aspects – from clearance and protection to enforcement – and manages a multicultural team in charge of ensuring that products comply with Danone’s IP policy. Her team also implements Danone’s global IP strategy in order to develop and maintain strong brands all around the world.

Before joining Danone in 2013, Ms Cornut-Gentille worked for more than eight years as an IP lawyer at the Paris Bar, where she practised litigation and anti-counterfeiting in the luxury fashion, wine and spirits industries. She also worked in New York from 2011 to 2012, where she consulted for a French entrepreneurial project.
