Diana Petricevic

Diana Petricevic has a law degree and a master’s in IP law and management from the Centre for International Intellectual Property Studies, University of Strasbourg. She is an analytical and results-driven legal services professional, with a strong combination of business and commercial acumen, legal expertise and extensive exposure to international corporate environments. Ms Petricevic has been involved in intellectual property and its related commercial and legal aspects since 2001.

A curious, lifelong learner, she is a confident communicator who takes initiative and deals with diverse people to facilitate a teamwork-focused culture. She has been influential in assessing the importance of IP matters, implementing legal best practices and reducing risk. As head of the IP and international law department with Podravka Inc, Ms Petricevic directs the global IP function and deploys a pragmatic approach to identifying, securing, protecting and defending investments in the company’s non-tangible assets with the aim of adding value to the business. She is the overall lead for all IP matters and guides IP staff in corrective actions. Among other things, she advises on trademark and design filing, prosecution processes, methods and tools, conducts trademark watching services and clearance investigations, and devises and manages IP budgets. She was also pivotal in the International Chamber of Commerce Intellectual Property Roadmap 2017.

Ms Petricevic works on raising the importance of intellectual property and has introduced initiatives to reduce IP costs, contributing to Podravka’s success – Podravka has been shortlisted for a World Trademark Review industry award as ranked in the top five global companies in the food, beverages and tobacco sector.
