Dennis Wilke

Brand Protection Coordinator at Cluse

Dennis Wilke is an ambitious and dedicated brand protection coordinator, who works for the fashion watch company CLUSE. He is responsible for the IP rights enforcement and anti-counterfeiting strategy in more than 70 countries. In his current role, he is equally involved in matters concerning commercial and privacy law within the organisation. Prior to joining CLUSE, Mr Wilke worked for an international trademark firm where he assisted in the management and enforcement of IP portfolios for several brands.

After graduating from Leiden University with a bachelor’s degree in international business law, he obtained a master’s degree in IP law from the Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam. As part of his studies, he also attended Shanghai International Studies University in Shanghai, China and Osgoode Hall School of Law in Toronto, Canada – both to gain a broad perspective on (global) IP law. More recently, Mr Wilke obtained a certificate on US Copyright Law hosted by Harvard Law School and the Berkman Klein Center for Internet and Society.

Combining his comprehension of the contemporary digital landscape (including social media platforms, online market places and ecommerce) with his extensive experience in global IP and business law, he is an essential asset to the business of CLUSE.

Mr Wilke is a frequent speaker at events and conferences on brand protection and IP management and enforcement in the fashion and retail industry.
