Not only does Wency Yu have over 10 years of experience in both contentious and non-contentious IP matters in China, she can also deliver her advice in several languages (English, Japanese and Chinese). Her practice focuses on strategic IP counselling, trademark portfolio management and anti-counterfeiting strategy. She has handled thousands of IP cases in China, representing leading multinational corporations in various industries, including technology, energy, luxury and fashion, automotive industries.

Prior to joining LexField, Ms Yu was an associate for over eight years at Baker McKenzie’s Beijing office. She also worked at Toyota China and Jeekai & Partners.

Ms Yu earned an LLM from Stanford Law School, a JD from the Chinese University of Hong Kong and a BA from Peking University. She is qualified in China and New York.
