Takenori Hiroe

Takenori Hiroe is the founding partner of Hiroe & Associates and a former member of the Japanese Patent Attorneys Association’s International Activity Committee, Trademark Committee, Copyright Committee, Unfair Competition Prevention Law Committee and IP Enforcement Facilitation Committee. In 2011 he received the Medal of Merit from the emperor of Japan for his longstanding services as a patent attorney. He was an adjunct professor at Gifu University until 2017 and he still regularly gives extracurricular IP seminars at that university.
