European Trademark and Design Attorney at Arnold & Siedsma
Sandra Bauwens has been an IP law specialist since 2000. She joined Arnold & Siedsma as a trademark and design attorney in 2008 and is now a senior expert in trademark and design matters, managing international brand portfolios for both domestic and foreign multinationals, small and medium-sized enterprises and non-profit organisations. Ms Bauwens guides her clients from product launch to registration of trademarks and designs.

In addition to the experience gained at Arnold & Siedsma, Ms Bauwens gained extensive experience as an in-house trademark agent for a major US multinational, where she was responsible for managing a significant brand portfolio worldwide. Not only was she closely involved in the creation of brands, rebranding projects and the analysis and restructuring of brand portfolios, she was also involved in numerous IP transfer agreements prompted by acquisitions. In her current role, Ms Bauwens also advises on opposition matters, infringement and enforcement cases relating to trademarks and designs.
Ms Bauwens is a member of INTA, the European Communities Trademark Association, MARQUES and the Benelux Association for Trademark and Design Law, and attends numerous conferences to maintain close contact with clients and agents abroad.
