Rebecca Delorey


Rebecca Delorey’s main areas of practice focus on protecting, exploiting and enforcing trademarks, industrial designs and copyright. For almost 20 years, she has advised large and small clients in a broad range of industries – automotive, electronics, pharmaceuticals, food and beverages, fashion and sportswear –  with regards to protecting IP assets and defending them before the EUIPO, national trademark offices and courts as well as the General Court in Luxembourg.

Ms Delorey has extensive experience in representing and defending well-known brands in cases relating to counterfeiting, infringement, parallel imports and other acts of trademark misuse, helping them to develop and deploy the most suitable strategies for their business objectives. These include liaising with Customs and law enforcement, online policing, investigations and court litigation. Domain name disputes and community design litigation are also key features of her practice.

In addition to her contentious practice, Ms Delorey is responsible for the management and prosecution of large trademark and design portfolios.

Ms Delorey is a regular speaker on subjects such as anti-counterfeiting, Community trademark jurisdiction issues, damages awards by French courts, evidence and other trademark and design-related issues.
