Maite Ferrándiz is a partner at the IP litigation boutique Grau & Angulo. The firm has offices in Barcelona, Madrid and Las Palmas. She became a partner in 2011 and has been with the firm since its foundation in 2003.

Ms Ferrándiz has more than 17 years of professional experience in intellectual property. She is a key player in trademark, industrial design, copyright and unfair competition litigation and also provides advice to her clients in all these fields. She works with high-profile international clients in sectors including automobiles, food and beverage, fashion, footwear and furniture. Ms Ferrándiz has been involved in important cross-border cases and in significant disputes regarding, among others, the interpretation of the spare parts clause in the Community Designs Regulation. She is a key player in the firm as regards proceedings before the Supreme Court. Ms Ferrándiz has contributed to leading international publications specialising in intellectual property and has been recognised by leading international legal directories.

She is a graduate in law from the Pompeu Fabra University in Barcelona and has a master’s in intellectual property from the University of Alicante (Magister Lucentinus). She is a member of the Barcelona Bar Association and speaks Spanish, English, Italian and Catalan.
