Inga George is an IP lawyer and partner of boesling IP, an IP litigation boutique based in Hamburg, Germany. She has profound expertise and longstanding experience in IP law, among other areas, from working for many years at one of Germany’s leading IP law firms.

Ms George advises and represents her national and international clients in all aspects of trademark, design, copyright and unfair competition law. Her areas of practice include the enforcement of IP rights, including well-known trademarks, in national and cross-border litigation. She is vastly experienced in portfolio management – including trademark clearances and filling, opposition and cancellation proceedings – as well as in the negotiation of contracts related to IP rights, such as IP licensing and transfer agreements. Ms George routinely advises on IP issues related to M&A deals and transactions. Clients also greatly appreciate her counsel on product launches and advertising campaigns.

Ms George is a bar-certified specialist for IP law, co-author of the widely recognised commentaries of Gordian Hasselblatt on the EU Community Trademark Regulation and the EU Community Design Regulation, and an active member of the MARQUES designs team. She is an experienced speaker at IP conferences and frequently writes articles on IP law issues for specialist magazines.
