Bruno Nunes

Founding Partner at BN Intellectual Property

Bruno Nunes is the founding partner of Macau law firm BN Intellectual Property, which specialises in IP and industrial property law.

Mr Nunes graduated in law from the Universidade Católica Portuguesa Law School and qualified as a lawyer both in Portugal and Macau. He is a registered lawyer with the Macau Lawyers Association (2006) and the Portuguese Bar Association (2000).

While the firm specialises in prosecution, Mr Nunes’s practice focuses preliminary on IP advice and litigation. He has extensive experience in all pre-trial, trial and post-trial activities in the Macau courts.

Mr Nunes’s practice includes representing clients before Macau’s IP Office, Macau’s courts and Customs, assisting both large and small businesses in Macau and abroad.

BN Laywers provides services in Macau, Singapore, China and Portugal, covering the full spectrum of advice, prosecution and enforcement.

Mr Nunes has been attending and speaking at conferences in Mainland China, enabling Chinese clients and businesses to protect their IP rights first before expanding overseas.

Mr Nunes is an active member of major international IP organisations, including INTA, the Asian Pacific Patent Attorneys Association (APAA) and the International Association for the Protection of Intellectual Property. Mr Nunes sits on INTA’s Famous and Well-Known Marks Committee and the APAA Design Committee.
