Bernard Volken is a partner at FMP Fuhrer Marbach & Partners, a Swiss IP boutique. For the past 26 years he has specialised in providing a full range of IP strategies in relation to, among other things, prosecution, litigation, customs seizures, contracts and licensing of IP assets. Before joining FMP he worked for several years at the Swiss Trademark Office as head of Trademark Oppositions.
Mr Volken regularly speaks at IP seminars and frequently publishes articles on IP issues. He routinely acts as an expert speaker on the protection of industrial designs and trademarks for WIPO and teaches design law at Tongji University Shanghai.
Mr Volken is bilingual in German and French. His working languages are English, German and French.
