With over two decades in the IP rights business, Astrid Solberg has unique and extensive experience in general and strategic trademark counselling, developing and implementing trademark protection strategies, clearance, filing and prosecution, as well as trademark litigation, oppositions and other legal and administrative procedures, negotiations and agreement drafting, in Norway and abroad.
Ms Solberg manages IP rights portfolios small and large, and her clients span from individuals and entrepreneurs to market leaders and international corporations in all sectors of consumer goods and commodities, including the food and beverages, pharmaceutical, cosmetics, fashion, gaming, entertainment, IT and automotive industries.

Ms Solberg obtained her law degree from Oslo University, specialising in copyright and IP rights. She joined Bryn Aarflot in 1995 and was admitted to the Bar in 2001. She became a partner of the firm in 1998. Before this, she had worked for the National Insurance Service on appeals relating to occupational injury compensation.
