Rwanda takes over management of '.rw'

Rwanda has finally obtained from ICANN the right to manage its own ccTLD, ‘.rw’, which was previously in the hands of a foreign individual. This is a victory for the Rwandan government which, in the past few years, has been giving increased importance to ICT innovations and development, and has been working on making the country a technological hub for the entire East African region.
