Tilmann Lührig is an experienced partner heading the IP department at Lexton. He advises domestic and international clients in all areas of industrial and intellectual property, copyright and unfair competition, as well as information technology and data protection – covering both prosecution and litigation.
He has special industry knowledge in the field of (old and new) media, entertainment, cosmetics, consumer goods, culture, real estate and information technology, as well as advertising agencies and public relations. Mr Lührig conducts global trademark clearances and represents clients in prosecution matters before the German Patent and Trademark Office, the European Union Intellectual Property Office (EUIPO) and the World Intellectual Property Organisation. He has extensive experience in representing clients in opposition and cancellation proceedings before the German Patent and Trademark Office, the German Federal Patent Court, the EUIPO, the EU General Court and the Court of Justice.
Mr Lührig advises and represents clients in counterfeit matters and has significant experience in enforcing his clients’ IP rights in preliminary and regular proceedings, as well as in domain name disputes, before German and EU courts and administrative bodies.
