Agnieszka Śnieżko is a partner and co-founder of WTS Patent Attorneys, a lawyer and a Polish and European patent and trademark attorney. In 1996 she graduated from the faculty of law of the Catholic University in Lublin. Her master’s thesis concerned the arrangement of musical works under the Polish Copyright Law. In 1997 Ms Śnieżko started a two-year apprenticeship for the Polish patent attorneys at the Institute of Invention and Protection of Intellectual Property of the Jagiellonian University in Krakow. In 1998 she was employed in the trademark department at the largest Warsaw firm dealing with IP protection, initially as a specialist, then as a Polish patent attorney. In 2002, during her PhD studies at the Law Institute of the Polish Academy of Sciences in Warsaw, Ms Śnieżko obtained a scholarship from the Max-Planck-Institute and in 2003 was a scholarship holder at the Max Planck Institute for Innovation and Competition in Munich.
As the founding partner of WTS Patent Attorneys, Ms Śnieżko has many years of experience in representing clients in all matters and administrative and court-administrative proceedings related to Polish, international and European trademarks and industrial designs. She closely cooperates with Polish attorneys at law in conducting civil court proceedings based on IP and unfair competition law. Ms Śnieżko is a member of the Polish Chamber of Patent Attorneys, the Institute of Professional Representatives before the European Patent Office, ECTA and INTA. She speaks Polish, English and German.
