The Estonian market is flourishing as the new regime introduced by the 2019 transposition of the EU Trademark Directive beds down. The reforms have already had a positive impact, with practitioners reporting an uptick in trademark applications and heightened brand awareness more generally. The streamlined, customer-friendly tool facilitates the filing of fast-track applications and should thus increase efficiency and help to modernise IP practices in the country.
