The trademark system in El Salvador is rapidly modernising due to both legislative changes and the adoption of new technological and innovation goals promoted by WIPO. These alterations will make it easier to register and protect trademarks and other forms of intellectual property. The new user-friendly registration procedure aims to reduce bureaucracy and therefore provide more opportunities for entrepreneurs and investors.
