New research from MarkMonitor reveals that almost a quarter of consumers have been duped into buying counterfeit goods online. The findings once again illustrate the need for counsel to maintain proactive policing programmes. One of the issues discussed at the launch of the report was, in the ‘whack-a-mole’ online environment, just how counsel can tangibly measure the effectiveness of their endeavours.
