General Court upholds AQUALOGY mark

Sociedad General de Aguas de Barcelona, SA filed an application for a Community trademark before the Office for Harmonisation in the Internal Market in various classes – including Classes 35, 37, 39, 40 and 42 related to water distribution services. FCC Aqualia, SA opposed the registration for services in these classes based on its earlier denominative Community trademark AQUALIA and on an earlier Spanish trademark.
