Governments win significant concessions from ICANN board in Brussels
After two days of tense consultation with its Government Advisory Committee, the ICANN board today finally revealed its “best current thinking” on the proposed trademark protection mechanisms for new gTLDs. It appears that the GAC made significant gains from the board – and that it has established a stronger position within ICANN.
