Hulda Árnadóttir is a qualified attorney and a partner at LEX Law Offices. She has extensive experience in the field of intellectual property – particularly in all aspects of trademarks and related law – and heads a team in LEX’s IP department. She provides legal and strategic consultation and manages client trademark portfolios in Iceland and abroad. She is also an experienced litigator and has tried several trademark and unfair competition cases, both at the administrative level and before the courts.
Ms Árnadóttir is a lecturer in trademark law, property law and contract law at the University of Iceland as well as a lecturer in media law and an external examiner in competition law at Reykjavik University. Furthermore, she frequently speaks at seminars and similar events on various topics within the field of intellectual property, as well as in the field of competition law.
She has carried out several governmental commissions of trust and is currently a member of the Wasteland Commission, the Senior Civil Servants Salary Board, vice chairman of the Media Committee and chairman of the Property Valuation Appeals Committee.
Ms Árnadóttir holds a Cand Jur degree from the University of Iceland and an LLM in commercial law from Bristol University. She joined LEX in 2006. She speaks English, French and Danish.
