Bernard Volken is a partner at FMP Fuhrer Marbach & Partners, a Swiss IP boutique. For 25 years he has specialised in developing a full range of IP strategies, including prosecution, litigation, customs seizures, contracts and licensing. Before joining FMP Fuhrer Marbach & Partners, he worked for several years at the Swiss Trademark Office as head of trademark oppositions.
Mr Volken regularly speaks at IP seminars and frequently publishes articles on IP issues. He routinely acts as expert speaker on the protection of industrial designs and trademarks for the World Intellectual Property Organisation and teaches design law at Tongji University, Shanghai.
Mr Volken is bilingual in German and French. His working languages are English, German and French.
