Alexandra Parr is an experienced attorney at law and certified specialist in IP law. She became a partner of Betten & Resch in Munich in 2008. She represents clients in all kinds of industry, including fashion, consumer goods, retail and lifestyle. As the head of the firm’s trademark and design department, she manages IP portfolios for national and international clients of all sizes. She advises her clients on their IP portfolio strategy and enforces their rights in court proceedings before all the Germany courts and the European courts, mainly in design and trademark law matters. Her practice also focuses on anti-counterfeiting and border seizure proceedings.
Ms Parr combines her extensive experience in both IP prosecution and litigation to find the best solutions to her clients’ challenges. Ms Parr also focuses on advising clients on their product design and market entry strategies in consideration of third-party rights.
Ms Parr studied law at the Johann Wolfgang Goethe University in Frankfurt and worked in New York in a law firm for six months after graduating.
She is a co-author of Comparative Global Design Law and of a practitioner’s handbook on trademark law.
