Governments back trademarks in gTLD launch decision reprieve
Trademark owners around the world owe a debt of gratitude to their representatives and supporters - including major governments. Attendees at this week's ICANN meeting in Colombia report that it now looks unlikely that the board will be able to approve the final applicant guidebook for the expansion of the generic top-level domain space.
