Are non-legal trademark services suppliers delivering what you need? WTR wants to know

Budgets are shrinking, workloads are rising and infringement is omnipresent. Against this background, accessing strategic non-legal trademark services has become increasingly crucial. But how is the industry meeting user demand and what does the future hold? To find out, WTR is polling law firm and corporate trademark professionals for their thoughts on how the trademark services sector is matching up to expectations.

With offerings spanning search and watch, renewals and recordals, and general trademark portfolio management, service providers play a critical role in the brand ecosystem. However, after a period of high M&A activity and private equity investment, accompanied by the rise of new players targeting trademark spend, that landscape now looks very different to five years ago (when WTR last surveyed the community about non-legal service supplier offerings). Thus, we are asking our readership to tell us how they evaluate offerings and select partners, how happy they are with the service received and what innovations they would like to see.

Your responses will be treated with full confidentiality. Only anonymised and aggregated information will be used for publication of the survey results by WTR. Written comments may be used anonymously in editorials as part of our coverage, which will build up a general picture of the state of the market. The survey is completely free to enter, and your details will not be used for any commercial purpose, nor be shared with third parties.

The survey takes approximately five minutes to complete. If you would like to receive a copy of the results, please provide your email address at the end of the survey.

The survey is available here or below.
