Thaís KR Almeida Penteado is a senior lawyer with more than 12 years’ experience in intellectual property and IP litigation, including patents, trademarks and copyright. Ms Penteado holds a law degree from the University Centre of Brasilia and a postgraduate degree in intellectual law from the Faculty of Law at the University of Lisbon. She serves national and international clients from the most diverse economic sectors.

Ms Penteado has had an article published in Legal Interpretations of the Superior Courts – Commercial Law I (Sao Paulo: RT, 2017). She is an active member of the Brazilian Association of Intellectual Property.
