Susie Harris is general counsel for Plum Guide, an online platform which brings guests and hosts together in cities across the globe. She is responsible for all aspects of legal and regulatory, including intellectual property. Ms Harris was chief legal officer at King, where she saw the company go from a small developer to one of the biggest mobile game makers in the world. She guided King through the various IP aspects involved in its initial public offering and subsequent sale to Activision Blizzard. Ms Harris trained and worked as an associate at CMS Cameron McKenna, before moving to Skype as IP counsel and then to Microsoft. Her focus is on brand protection and enforcement. She became chair of MARQUES Council in June 2019.
