Sophie Chen

Patent attorney

Sophie Chen is a patent attorney at Panawell & Partners. She received her bachelor’s degree with first class honours in telecommunications from Xi’an Jiaotong-Liverpool University in 2012, and her master’s degree with distinction in wireless communications from the University of Southampton in 2013.

Ms Chen specialises in patent drafting, prosecution, re-examination, invalidation, litigation and counselling in the fields of communications, computer technology and electronic circuits, among other things. Her working languages are Chinese and English.
