Silvie Wertwijn has been a practising lawyer since 2000 and has previously worked with NautaDutilh and Steinhauser Hoogenraad. Ms Wertwijn deals with intellectual property in a broad sense, with a focus on trademarks, pharmaceuticals and patents. Besides conducting litigation, Ms Wertwijn frequently advises clients on all aspects of IP law and assists in transactions with a large IP component. She is an active member of the Amsterdam Bar. She was a member of the Board of the Amsterdam Young Bar for two years, first as secretary and later as chairman. In the field of trademarks, Ms Wertwijn is a member of various professional associations, including INTA, BMM (Benelux Association for Trade Marks and Designs Professionals) and AIPPI.
