Robert Clayton Barchiesi
President, International AntiCounterfeiting Coalition
Prior to taking up the post of president of the International Anti-counterfeiting Coalition, Robert Barchiesi held the position of director of investigations at the Recording Industry Association of America. Before joining the Recording Industry Association of America, Mr Barchiesi served the law enforcement community in several executive positions beginning his career with the New York City Police Department and retiring as a detective sergeant; his career culminated with appointments as the special agent in charge of investigations in the US Virgin Islands and the chief of police in Crystal River, Florida. Mr Barchiesi is a frequent keynote speaker at anti-counterfeiting conferences throughout the United States and is the coauthor of Rock Solid. In that capacity, he was interviewed by Morley Safer on 60 Minutes and appeared on other television and radio talk shows. Mr Barchiesi received a BA from John Jay College of Criminal Justice and graduated from the University of Alabama with a MA in Criminal Justice.
