Ricardo Enrique Antequera has experience in the strategic evaluation of comparative protection allowed by the Copyright, Trademark and Patent Law, for the effective management of intellectual property portfolios. His areas of practice cover licensing, defensive proceedings, annulment, cancellation and opposition applications.

He was formerly a university professor in the field of intellectual property at the Andres Bello Catholic University of Caracas, the Central University of Venezuela, the Metropolitan University and the University of Los Andes, and also visiting professor at the Catholic University of Tachira.

Currently, he is ranked in Band 2 for intellectual property in Chambers and Partners: Latin America (2023) and the gold band in World Trademark Review 1000 (2023). Also, in the LACCA Approved (2017) listings for intellectual property law, he is ranked first in Venezuela and second in Latin America.
