Rawan Sunna has been practising intellectual property since 2000. She studied law in Jordan and obtained her LLM in IP management from Bournemouth University in the United Kingdom. She has over 13 years of experience in advising and providing professional IP-related services in the United Arab Emirates and other countries in the Arab world. Her main expertise lies with IP enforcement, analysis of enforcement laws, anticounterfeiting programmes, in addition to trademark law. As a partner (since January 2014) and a senior manager at Al Shaali & Co Advocates and Legal Consultants – IP Division, she heads both the legal consultancy and trademark departments.
