Pierre-Yves Gunter is a partner and co-head of the arbitration practice at Bär & Karrer, a leading Swiss law firm with offices in Zurich, Geneva, Lugano and Zug. He has been acting since 1991 in the field of international commercial arbitration and has extensive experience as counsel and arbitrator in the fields of construction and complex projects, joint-venture, oil & gas, telecommunications and IT, pharmaceutical, commodity and international trade as well as corporate and post M&A. He also regularly acts before state courts for litigation cases. For several years he was a member of the Board of Directors at the SIAC and co-chair of the International Arbitration Committee of the ABA (Section of International Law and Practice).
