Nuno Cruz is a partner with IP firm J Pereira da Cruz, SA. He obtained a law degree in 1983 and was admitted as a lawyer to the Portuguese Bar Association in 1987, having also been awarded the title of specialist lawyer in IP law when it was created by the Bar Association in 2006. Mr Cruz was appointed as an official industrial property agent in 1995 and is also a European patent attorney and a European trademark and design attorney before the Office for Harmonisation in the Internal Market. He is an arbitrator at the World Intellectual Property Organisation Arbitration and Mediation Centre for the resolution of domain name disputes and at the ARBITRARE Arbitration Centre in Portugal. Mr Cruz has worked in IP consultancy, litigation and enforcement since 1979.
