Maria Ines Herrera

Maria Ines Herrera is a founding partner of BARLAW, with 16 years in practice and considerable expertise in IP counselling and litigation. She has broad experience in handling the IP portfolios of international corporations and preparing brand-protection strategies. Ms Herrera has handled complex trademark and copyright infringement cases, as well as complex contentious prosecution matters. She graduated from Universidad de Lima with a JD in 2005, and received her LLM from the University of New Hampshire, School of Law in 2012. She also studied at the Peruvian Institute of Advertising in 1998. Ms Herrera is a member of many international associations and actively participates in different working committees.
