Maria Fernanda Castellanos is a senior associate with Brigard & Castro. She studied law at Colegio Mayor del Rosario where she obtained her JD and was admitted to practise law in Colombia in 1995. She also attended New York University where she obtained an LLM in general studies with a focus on intellectual property and antitrust. Ms Castellanos joined Brigard & Urrutia in 1996. She initially specialized in commercial and communications law and in 2000 she became the associate in charge of the IP Department. She became senior associate following the merger of Brigard & Castro and Brigard & Urrutia. She is fluent in English, French and Spanish.
