Manuel Polanco became the managing partner of Bolet & Terrero in 1999. The firm successfully addresses the registration and processing of its clients’ patents, trademarks, copyright and domains names, including counselling, prosecution, portfolio management, licensing, arbitration, litigation, unfair competition and anti-counterfeiting. Mr Polanco has collaborated with international organisations such as the International Trademark Association, the Interamerican Association of Industrial Property, the International Association for the Protection of Intellectual Property and the Asian Patent Attorneys Association, where he is involved in areas such as the code of ethics, new legislation proposals, academic formation and the protection of rights holders.
