Jose R Fermin is the senior legal counsel at Bolet & Terrero. His practice focuses on IP protection, litigation, unfair competition and anticounterfeiting. Throughout his career he has represented major international companies in various legal disputes, such as patent infringement, trademark abuse and actions against counterfeiters. Mr Fermin has contributed significantly to the new customs regulations in Venezuela and has written extensively on this subject. Prior to joining Bolet & Terrero, Mr Fermin served as legal counsel at the Venezuelan Patent and Trademark Office for more than five years.
