José De Santiago is a partner with the firm Olivares & Cía. Prior to joining the firm, he worked as an in-house attorney for financial corporation Grupo Zapata, handling, among other things, industrial property matters. He holds a Juris Doctor degree from the Universidad Iberoamericana plus several postgraduate diplomas from universities in Mexico, Spain and the United States. Mr De Santiago has written for specialized publications in IP matters and has spoken at numerous venues in Mexico, Argentina, Brazil, Chile and the United States. Mr De Santiago is a member of the International Trademark Association, the American Bar Association, the American Chamber of Commerce of Mexico and the Mexican Association for the Protection of Intellectual Property.
