John Anderson

John Anderson is a consultant and strategist on government and international affairs, specialising in IP rights enforcement. A former diplomat, he is currently chair of the Global Anti-counterfeiting Group. Mr Anderson works with Interpol, the World Customs Organisation, the United Nations Inter-Regional Crime and Justice Research Institute and the EU Observatory on Infringements of IP Rights. He is an active member of the anti-counterfeiting committees of the International Trademark Association and MARQUES. He has been part of IP rights enforcement project evaluation teams for the EU IP rights, China and EU/third countries initiatives, as well as a partner in the EU Fakes Project and EU Twinning and Technical Assistance Projects in Romania, Latvia, Estonia, Bulgaria, Croatia, Turkey and Morocco.
