Irene De Sola Lander is cocoordinator of the Intellectual Property Department, which includes practices in trademark infringement, unfair competition, consumer protection, copyright, trademarks, patents and advertising. She graduated from the Central University of Venezuela and was admitted to practice in 1982. Ms Lander is a member of the Venezuelan Bar Association, the International Association for the Protection of Intellectual Property and the International Trademark Association, and a member and past president of the Venezuelan Association of Industrial Property and the Inter- American Association of Intellectual Property Agents (2000-2003). She has published numerous articles on intellectual property in publications including Trademark Reporter, Trademark World and Managing Intellectual Property.
