Hanna-Maija Elo is a partner at Attorneys-at-Law Juridia Bützow Ltd and head of the firm’s IP and ICT practice. She graduated from the University of Helsinki and has been a member of the Finnish Bar since 1998. Ms Elo has worked with IP law for over 17 years. She has strong experience of handling different cases related to IP rights (trademarks, designs and copyright), particularly infringement, counterfeiting and unfair business practices. Ms Elo heads the firm’s anti-counterfeiting group. Additionally, she has many years’ experience in marketing and contract law, particularly in the franchising field. Ms Elo is also one of the founders of the Finnish Anticounterfeiting Group and a former chair of the group.
