Gavan Ferguson specializes in all areas of Irish, Community and international trademark matters, from clearance to registration and enforcement. He manages the worldwide portfolios of several Irish clients, notably in the entertainment field. He is the acting chairman of the Trademark Law and Practice Committee of the Irish Association of Patent and Trademark Agents. He is an overseas member of the UK Institute of Trademark Attorneys and is a regular attendee of the International Trademark Association annual meeting.
