Esteban Riofrio

Esteban Riofrio is chief counsel of PAZ HOROWITZ’s IP department. Born and raised in Quito, Ecuador, Mr Riofrio graduated from the Catholic University, Quito and was called to the Bar in 1997. He obtained an LLM in international law from the Universidad Andina in 1998. In additional to general IP matters, Mr Riofrio advises clients on piracy, unlawful use and unfair competition issues. He is recognized for his work in relation to Ecuadorian geographical indications and denominations of origin.
