Esteban Monge focuses his job on both litigation and transactional work related to intellectual property.  He maintains on-going communications, and advises foreign attorneys and international clients on the protection of their intellectual property rights, in matters involving trademarks, trade dress, unfair competition, counterfeiting, patents and copyright disputes faced by a wide variety of industries, such as fashion, food chains and technology.  Mr. Monge has assisted companies with strategic portfolio development and management, opinions of counsel and due diligence.  He is also well acquainted with the procedures to obtain the marketing authorisations for a variety of products including food, cosmetics, pharmaceuticals, medical devices and chemicals.  Finally, Mr. Monge counsels on aspects such as product development and testing, regulatory compliance and enforcement, advertisement, and promotion of biotechnology innovations.
