Dominique Kaesmacher is chief IP attorney and head of legal practice at Kirkpatrick. She is responsible for licensing, due diligence, auditing and strategic consultancy for European and Belgian companies and public institutions, as well as being in charge of the firm’s business development. Ms Kaesmacher is an expert in export strategies accredited by the Walloon Agency for Export & Investment and is also president of the Belgian branch of AIPPI. She lectures in IP law at the University of Liège’s business school. Ms Kaesmacher has written numerous articles in scientific and professional publications and in 2007 edited a major scientific book covering all aspects of IP law in Belgium. Ms Kaesmacher obtained her law degree from the University of Liège in 1983. She is a member of INTA, AIPPI, LES and all major IP associations.
