Catherine de Place heads the Trademark Department of Bureau Casalonga & Josse, a firm of French and European patent and trademark attorneys. She obtained her law degree from the University of Paris in 1964 and a masters degree in public law from the University of Paris in 1966. She became a registered French trademark attorney in 1992 and a European trademark attorney in 1996. Her practice covers diverse IP matters including trademark, design and domain name prosecution, counselling, litigation and licensing. She is a member of the Association des Praticiens du Droit des Marques et des Modèles, the International Trademark Association and the European Communities Trademark Association.
