WTR 1000 2018 rankings to be released early to World Trademark Review subscribers

Subscribers to World Trademark Review are to receive exclusive early access to the 2018 rankings tables for the World Trademark Review 1000 – The World’s Leading Trademark Professionals, as part of the WTR enhanced subscription package being launched next month.

Covering more than 70 jurisdictions worldwide, the WTR 1000 research project focuses exclusively on identifying the leading private practice firms and individuals in countries from across the globe. The final rankings are based on extensive feedback from all parts of the trademark eco-system, including private practitioners themselves and corporate trademark counsel. The jurisdiction-specific focus allows users to quickly identify leading local practitioners and firms in both the contentious and non-contentious spheres. While the full guide will be published in January 2018, World Trademark Review subscribers will be able to access the latest tables free of charge in November – two months before public release.

The move is one of a number of changes on their way for your World Trademark Review platform. Starting next month we will also provide subscribers with even more detailed analysis and insight of developments across the world affecting trademark owners and their advisers. In addition to increased intelligence moving to the subscriber area, our recently expanded editorial team will be delivering unique new data and research reports that will explore the key trademark trends, concerns and players in specific industries and jurisdictions.

To view this brand new material, current subscribers don’t need to do anything – at the beginning of November they will have uninterrupted access to everything we publish. However, non-subscribers will lose access to some content once the first changes take place and will not have automatic access to the new material on offer. Registered users will continue to receive the WTR Weekly, be able to read free-to-view news and access two pieces of subscriber-only content every month (including articles previously restricted to full subscribers).

Details on how to become a full subscriber – and benefit from unrestricted access to the latest market intelligence, legal analysis and cutting-edge insight – are available here.

This is just the first set of enhancements scheduled for the WTR platform - we have further plans for the future, which will be unveiled in due course. As always, once we do implement the changes, we would welcome any feedback.
