War of words as parties disagree on ability of The Gambia to handle Madrid System
West African nation The Gambia became the newest country to join the Madrid Protocol last month. However, one local law firm has expressed concern over the Gambian IP office’s ability to properly process Madrid applications. For its part the office rejects talk of a backlog and insists it is ‘all systems go’ for international applications.
