Two new free-to-view IP guides now available

World Trademark Review is pleased to announce the publication of the latest editions of Pharmaceutical Trademarks: A Global Guide and India: Managing the IP Lifecycle.

For many companies, brands are a key corporate asset. In the pharmaceutical sector, they are critical to long-term success, offering protection for products that extends far beyond the lifecycle of patent protection. However, practitioners tasked with the development, registration, protection, commercial exploitation and marketing of pharmaceutical brands must contend with a complex web of legal and regulatory requirements, with the picture varying significantly from jurisdiction to jurisdiction.  Against this backdrop, the latest edition of Pharmaceutical Trademarks – A Global Guide is designed to provide a simple, easy-to-use digest of the main issues faced by those charged with developing and protecting these key assets, providing practitioners with a quick and easy international comparison of the respective practices and procedures governing pharmaceutical marks.

The second publication now available is the latest edition of India: Managing the IP Lifecycle. Co-published by IAM and World Trademark Review, the title provides an indispensable guide to safeguarding and exploiting intellectual assets, from their creation through to their potential use in litigation and commercial negotiations. The content therefore runs the gamut of strategic IP issues, spanning trademarks, patents and trade secrets, as well as plant varieties.

Both publications are available to view online now, with hard copies mailed to World Trademark Review subscribers.
